Hello! I’m Danielle, and I am excited you are considering joining me on a musical adventure. Music has been a cornerstone of my life from a young age, and it’s an honor to share this gift with others.

My Purpose and Direction

The classes aim to inspire children and adults alike by unlocking the joy of music. They focus on:

  • Fostering creativity and imagination through music.
  • Building a strong foundation for future musical education.
  • Cultivating an atmosphere where everyone feels welcome and encouraged.

My Teaching Philosophy

My approach is aligned with a Kodály-based singing program which incorporates solfa (those doh, re, mi, syllables) musical games, and movement.
I utilize a variety of visual and aural techniques to achieve results.
They are designed to develop the whole child, including cognitive, language, motor, social-emotional, and spiritual domains.

Music is more than just notes and rhythms; it’s a language that speaks to the heart and soul. It builds communities and bridges gaps between differences.
My purpose is to give students not just the tools to play and understand music but also to appreciate its greater role in the world and in their lives.

My mission is to offer a holistic musical education that goes beyond notes and rhythms, focusing on developing each student’s unique musical ability.

My vision is to inspire the next generation of musicians to explore, create, and celebrate music in all its forms.

A Unique Approach to Musicianship

I have extensive classroom teaching and private teaching experience. The classes use a solfa based methodology which employs a singing approach to musicianship and ensures deep understanding of musical concepts. Musically literate students is the outcome.

Holistic Development

This approach also helps participants in their overall emotional and intellectual growth, enriching not just their musical abilities but also their life skills.
